Showing EU how it's done!

Water sampling and environmental monitoring in Sweden is presented as best practice example to the rest of the European Union member states.

Jämtlands Flyg and SLU (the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences www.slu.se) have both been profiled in one of the most prestigious EU-magazines; the "Public Service Review: European Union". The 2009 project is funded by the Swedish Environmental Agency (www.naturvardsverket.se).
We have taken part in monitoring the waters of Sweden for the last decade. This autumn we fly from the most northern tip of Sweden to its most southern, testing over a thousand lakes.
We have highly specialized helicopters and procedures that give the most efficient and safe service to our customers. We can deploy our fleet of helicopters everywhere in the EU at any time as we have a pan-european Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
The job type water sampling with floats (NOT emergency pop-outs!) is included in our AOC and the helicopter's configuration is approved by the CAA (rigid floats on a Colibri) - we are the legal and safe choice! Of course we use the most environmentally friendly type of helicopter in the world - the EC120B Colibri.
